About the Role
As an Account Manager at RhythmScience Inc, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, building strategic relationships, and driving sales growth within your assigned territory. You’ll work closely with healthcare providers, hospitals, and physician networks to introduce and implement RhythmScience’s solutions. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for healthcare technology, particularly in the cardiovascular space.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets for Rhythm360® and other RhythmScience products.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers in hospitals, health systems, and cardiology practices.
- Drive new business opportunities through prospecting, product presentations, and closing deals with healthcare providers.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Provide ongoing product education and support to help clients maximize the value of RhythmScience solutions.
Territory Management
- Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and effective resource allocation.
- Regularly report on territory performance, sales activity, and market trends to leadership.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement
- Work closely with marketing, product, and clinical teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and customer needs.
- Provide customer feedback to internal teams, contributing to product development and marketing strategies.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that could impact sales.
- Identify and report new market opportunities and risks.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in healthcare technology, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a defined territory.
- Experience selling to healthcare providers, hospitals, and physician networks is highly preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly in cardiovascular care.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS platforms or digital health solutions.
- Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or heart failure management.
- Established relationships within the healthcare provider community.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
