About The Role
As a Business Development Representative at RhythmScience, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and driving new business opportunities within your designated territory. This position requires a results-driven individual with a deep understanding of healthcare technology, a passion for improving patient outcomes, and the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and industry events.
- Research and engage potential clients, including hospitals, cardiology practices, and healthcare systems.
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business needs and demonstrate the value of RhythmScience solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations showcasing how Rhythm360® improves cardiac patient management.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with marketing and sales leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Provide insights from client interactions to influence product development and service enhancements.
Territory Management
- Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups and accurate forecasting.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Regularly report on sales activity, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Stay informed about healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities that impact sales opportunities.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and potential risks.
Reporting & Analysis
- Utilize HubSpot and other CRM tools to track leads, monitor sales performance, and optimize outreach strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the healthtech, medtech, or SaaS industry.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce) and other business development tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare or remote patient monitoring industry.
- Understanding of cardiology and the importance of remote cardiac monitoring.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS reimbursement models).
- Proven track record of successfully building and managing a sales pipeline in a fast-paced environment.
